Well, it’s been an adventure of bridge crossing, medicine dosing, and pampering. But first, the writing studio!

Patrick and Dad spent about two days installing the shiplap on the lower portion of the writing studio. With the landscape season starting in full force, Patrick had to go to work and Dad finished the siding and ceiling on his own. Because of the way the rafters align and the position of electrical box for my ceiling light, Dad had to do extensive math and make multiple prototypes to create my flat ceiling. He custom cut and designed multiple components to make it all come together. When Abbey and I got back from Baltimore, this is what I saw.
